1980s Bowling Night with GTAR: A Blast from the Past

Hey there, it's Nate Carver, your favorite mortgage guy! Last night, I had the pleasure of attending the Greater Texoma Association of Realtors (GTAR) annual bowling tournament at Hay Day in Denison, Texas. And let me tell you—it was a night to remember!

A Throwback to the 80s

This year’s theme was all about the 1980s, and what better way to celebrate than by rocking an authentic Tom Selleck Magnum P.I. Hawaiian shirt? Realtors, lenders, and community members came dressed in their best retro gear, bringing back the neon colors, big hair, and classic looks of the decade.

Competition and Camaraderie

The lanes were packed with competitors, all vying for top prizes, including awards for the best-dressed participants. Now, I’ll be the first to admit—bowling isn’t exactly my strong suit. My real skill lies in making others look good on the scoreboard! But the real fun was in the connections made and the laughs shared throughout the night.
