In real estate, every professional has a journey — and Sheri Sachs’ path is both inspiring and unique. Raised around houses in the 1970s and 80s, Sheri watched her father buy the roughest homes in the neighborhood, transform them, and resell them through owner financing. That early exposure to real estate gave her a foundation that would one day shape her entire career.

Her first personal home purchase was For Sale By Owner with owner financing — no Realtor involved. Later, she worked for a man who hosted owner-finance seminars, where she ran social media and helped create courses. But her big break came when she became an assistant to a traditional Realtor in Frisco, TX. She laughs now, admitting she didn’t even know what Realtors really did at the time. That experience inspired her to get her real estate license in 2012, and from there she built a thriving career in traditional real estate.

Sheri quickly discovered her passion wasn’t just about selling homes — it was about helping people through pivotal life transitions. Whether it was guiding first-time buyers, supporting families through divorce or estate sales, or simply seeing the joy on a buyer’s face when they walked into the perfect home, Sheri loved every part of serving people in the real estate process.

Today, Sheri and her husband Randy (a “Match.com miracle” story) live in Anna, TX, where they’ve become deeply involved in the community. They attend city council meetings, participate in Anna’s Neighborhood Academy, and host the This Is Anna TX podcast, spotlighting local voices and stories. “It’s fun to be involved, to meet people, and to see a small town develop,” Sheri shared.

But Sheri hasn’t forgotten her roots in FSBO and owner financing. With today’s market shifting — rising interest rates, tight equity positions, and sellers facing financial challenges — she knew the time was right to launch something new: The Home Selling Playbook.

Too often, buyers show up without preapproval, or sellers don’t understand how financing impacts timelines. That’s where I step in — making sure buyers are qualified, contracts move smoothly, and both sides have confidence the deal will close.
