Welcome back to another episode of Between Two Doors! Today, we had the pleasure of speaking with Paige and Jeremy Tanner, a powerhouse real estate duo based in Mobile, Alabama. Their story is an incredible journey of faith, investment, and service, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

From Investment to Full-Time Real Estate

Paige and Jeremy’s journey into real estate began in 2019, with a dream of building passive income through investment properties. What started as a long-term financial strategy quickly turned into a full-fledged career. Jeremy had always been drawn to real estate, working in construction during his early years and being inspired by successful investors around him.

Paige, however, took some convincing. Jeremy spent ten years encouraging her to get her real estate license, and when she finally did, she fell in love with the industry. Now, they work together, helping homebuyers, sellers, and investors navigate the Mobile real estate market.

Serving First-Time Homebuyers

One of Paige’s greatest passions is working with first-time homebuyers. She finds joy in helping clients find their dream homes, guiding them through the process with patience and enthusiasm. Whether it’s showing 25 houses in a few weeks or celebrating a winning offer, she thrives on making homeownership a reality for others.

For Jeremy, his first deal was a cash investment property that closed just two weeks after he got his license. That transaction led to multiple deals with the same investor, ultimately inspiring them to start managing rental properties. Now, they not only sell homes but also manage investment properties, adding another layer of value to their clients.

Lessons Learned & Advice for Homebuyers

Paige and Jeremy have experienced the highs and lows of real estate, including unexpected challenges like discovering termites in a rental property and helping clients recover from devastating house fires. Through it all, they’ve maintained a steadfast commitment to their clients.

Here’s their best advice for first-time homebuyers:

➡️ Don’t hesitate to ask questions. The home-buying process can be overwhelming, but working with a knowledgeable agent and lender makes it easier.

➡️ Avoid big purchases before closing. As Paige puts it, “Ramen noodles until closing! Don’t open new credit accounts or finance furniture before you get the keys.”

➡️ Buy when you’re ready. Jeremy emphasizes that waiting for the “perfect market” isn’t necessary—buy when you’re financially prepared and able to handle homeownership.

Life Outside of Real Estate

When they’re not helping clients, Paige and Jeremy enjoy the simple joys of life. Paige is a farm girl at heart, raising chickens and selling farm-fresh rainbow-colored eggs. She finds peace tending to her animals, plants, and farm life. Jeremy loves spending time outdoors, embracing the beauty of Alabama’s Gulf Coast.
