He used it to study for his real estate license while working as a marketing professional for a cryptocurrency company. After passing the exam and gaining initial experience part-time, he fully transitioned into real estate when his marketing job ended.

His first deal was a seller-side transaction—for his mother-in-law! She was unhappy with her previous agent, and right before signing a listing agreement, she asked Joshua if he could handle the sale. With the help of his mentor, he successfully listed and sold the home within seven days.

Real estate isn’t always smooth sailing. One of Joshua’s most memorable encounters came when he was showing a home in Century, Florida. As he waited for his clients to arrive, a random man in Crocs, shorts, and no shirt knocked on the door. When Joshua opened it, the man excitedly claimed he had cut the grass for the home months ago and wanted to check out the inside.

Feeling the situation was better handled by letting the man take a look rather than causing a scene, Joshua watched as the visitor jumped around the house, praising the sturdy floors—all while holding a boiled egg. As quickly as he came, he left, peeling and eating his egg while walking across the yard.

For Joshua, real estate is more than just transactions—it’s about people and relationships. His faith and love for helping others motivate him to serve buyers and sellers at the highest level. It all started at a Christmas party when Joshua decided to one-up the ugly sweater contest by wearing a crazy Christmas suit. The reaction was overwhelming—everyone loved it! He began wearing different bold, fun suits to work, and clients started associating him with his unique, vibrant personality.

Today, Joshua owns 26 different crazy suits, taking up an entire guest closet! His brand has become a conversation starter and a fun way to bring personality into his business.

Joshua believes that now is always the best time to buy a home—especially considering the current real estate climate. While interest rates fluctuate, waiting too long could mean missing out on good deals.

  • Don’t pay someone else’s mortgage – If you qualify, owning a home is always better than renting.

Joshua’s Life Outside of Real Estate

When he’s not selling homes, Joshua enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children, Clayton and Grace. His family also includes three dogs, 15 chickens, and two pot-bellied pigs!

In his free time, he has a passion for cars and cryptocurrency. His dream car? A 2012 Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series—though he jokes that he may never spend the $400,000–$600,000 price tag on it.
